Entrance hall at 45 rue d'Ulm, as busy as a auditorium.
We go there for a coffee and we arrange to meet “in the water”.
Courô
Nickname given to the Court of Ernest, a major meeting place of the ENS-PSL. Ernest Bersot, director of the School from 1871 to 1880, would have had the pond built there in which goldfish, affectionately called the Ernests, lounge today.
K-Fêt
A hotspot for student life, K-Fêt is the café, a place for evenings, concerts and relaxation hosted by the students of the k-fêt team.
Pot
The pot designates the restaurant (we can also say canteen!) of the École normale supérieure, located on the Panthéon campus. The “little pot” refers to the cafeteria, right next door. On the Jourdan campus, there is also a cafeteria.
Thurnes
These are the rooms which accommodate normaliens as well as foreign residents. They are spread over three campuses: Panthéon, Jourdan and Montrouge.
DG (general delegation)
Group of four elected normalians, who manage the allocation of thurnages during thurnages (the TG, general, annual thurnage, and the TP, partial thurnages, each month).
